With a strong background in developing comprehensive software solutions, I am currently serving as a Senior Software Development and Manufacturing Engineer at Paroscientific, the world leader in precision pressure measurements. In this role, I have developed an internal website from scratch to support calibration and manufacturing processes, including designing the MySQL database, developing the C# web API, and building the front end using Agile methodologies, TypeScript, and Bootstrap. Additionally, I have created applications for microcontroller development and several in-house tools for sensor calibration, while also managing our IT infrastructure and information security needs.
Previously, I was a Technical Program Manager at John L. Scott, where I managed several projects. During my tenure, we implemented a new CRM, developed a new intranet, added new features to the mobile app and public website, and refactored several backend systems.
I have been lucky to have done a variety of interesting things over the years, including serving on board ballistic missile submarine as a nuclear power plant operator. I continually add to my software development and engineering repertoire, I have really enjoyed the experience of business development, program management, and great engineering.
For several years now I have been fortunate enough to foster several dogs and cats. Check them out on my Instagram page (it’s all pics of our foster animals).
I have several hobbies/intellectual curiosities including recreational programming and mathematics (I’ll post something about this shortly, but here’s a taste. Recently I took up backyard astronomy and am working my way through spotting all 110 Messier objects. I promised myself to not take up the highly expensive hobby of astrophotography – I’ll leave that to NASA.
